We Are the Candle that Lights the Eternal Flame

Not such words and thoughts
have mortal eyes ever seen
or will ever see again.
Like those immersed in Torah
from none other than G-d.

It is our eyes that are immortal;
knew the scholar and the sage.
With ever word and its meaning
and the turning of a page.

We are the candle that
lights the eternal flame
with His words yet once again.
As we immerse ourselves in Torah
with the meanings of G-d.

Some see, but will not hear
the piety of His word.
And leave to others, yes to others,
what history overheard.

These are the lessons immortal.
The blueprint for us and man.
These are the words that the prophets
chose to know and understand.

These are the lessons for generations;
laws and ideas for us to learn.
And the traditions of the ages
to live and to discern.

Listen to the needs of the Almighty.
Listen with hope and with pride.
G-d chooses but once.
And it is you, who must decide.

To leave the world as you find it,
or make a difference.
