The Sinai Experiment ©
By Michael Druck
A Jew is a Jew
and is always a Jew .
He who thinks he can change from a Jew,
is still a Jew.
For a Jew is a Jew
just the same.
So Reform is a Jew,
and a Conservative a Jew,
and an Orthodox a Jew,
Reconstructionist a Jew.
For a Jew is more than a name.
Not so Reform,
is somebody’s norm
like a Conservative is.
He is a Jew as he is.
G-d sees us all
at the Jerusalem Wall
For a Jew is a Jew just the same.
Now what I was saying,
will take more than just praying,
trying and conveying,
what I was portraying,
or whether Tefillin was laying.
For a Jew is a Jew just the same.
So put away what you know
for G-d made us so;
what has been granted to us is the same.
At Sinai no one questioned who was who;
and we were all there.
