The following are the blessing
that are recited on the lighting of the menora. Print out this page and use it when you light your menora.
1st. Blessing:
Blessed are You, Lord
of the Universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments,
and commanded us to light the Chanuka light.
2nd Blessing:
Blessed are You, Lord
of the Universe, who has done miracles for our forefathers in
those days, at this time.
3rd Blessing
(said only the first time of lighting the candles):
Blessed are You, Lord
of the Universe, who given us life, preserved us and enabled us
to reach this time.
